September 2008: The Veterans Project first scuba class held their graduation dive on the picturesque Santa Catlina Island, California at Casino Point (pictured below). The enthusiasm was high and the water was wonderful. Click here to read all about it!

July 2008: The scuba class for wounded veterans is in full operation! After their classroom and pool training is finished, they will advance to more extensive training in the Pacific Ocean. Check back for more news as this class progresses.


February 2008: Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation provided Challenges Foundation a generous grant to teach wounded veterans to snorkel and scuba dive.


December 2007: Challenges Foundation completes extensive renovations on 30' sailboat docked in Marina Del Rey, California.
